High's and Low's

High's:

1.  The mountains of Judea and a time in the desert region to reflect on the way this region is used so often to shape the people of God.

2.  Riding a Camel.

3.  Visiting the incredible site of Masada - seeing the genius of Herod at work.

4.  The impossibility of sinking in the dead sea.

Low's

1.  Descending below sea level (our guide said we should stop breathing for the next number of hours).

2.  The ethical dilemma of Masada where 10 men killed their families and then themselves as opposed to being taken prisoner of the Romans.

3.  Thinking about the genius of Herod and the ruthlessness of Herod in the slaughter of the innocents.

4.  Having someone post a picture of you falling asleep on the bus, merely because you insulted them publicly ;)
